Exonel makes gaskets and seals to drawing for enclosures, panels, housings and fluid systems. Moulded for complex geometry, joined from extruded profile for large perimeters, or cut from sheet and strip for simple flat gaskets. The compound follows the temperature, media and clamp load.

Moulded gaskets
One-piece gaskets and seals with complex or stepped geometry. Rubber-to-metal bonding available.
Joined gaskets
Extruded profile cut to length and vulcanised at the corners into an endless frame. The practical choice for large enclosure doors.
Cut gaskets and strips
Flat gaskets and strip stock for simple joints where a mould is not justified.
Sponge gaskets
Closed-cell silicone or EPDM sponge for lightly clamped or uneven faces.
Compound selection
Silicone for heat and weather, EPDM for outdoors, NBR for oil, FKM for heat with fuel or chemicals.
Hardness and section
Durometer and cross-section are chosen for your clamp load and compression set.

The gasket or housing drawing, the groove or clamp detail, the temperature, the media it touches and the quantity. A sample of the old gasket helps.
How we review it
We check the geometry, the clamping arrangement and the service conditions, then recommend the process and the compound. Nothing is tooled before you confirm.
