Panels run warm under load. Silicone keeps its properties where general-purpose rubbers soften.

Flame-retardant silicone compounds are available where the specification calls for them.
Outdoor installations
For outdoor kiosks and feeder pillars, EPDM resists ozone, UV and rain.
