What rubber is best for a high-temperature gasket?

Silicone (VMQ) suits continuous heat to about +200°C; for heat plus oil or fuel, FKM is the stronger choice. We match the polymer to your temperature and media.

Can you bond rubber gaskets to metal?

Yes — we chemically bond elastomers to steel, brass and aluminium for integrated rubber-to-metal sealing units.

What hardness can you supply?

Typically about 30 to 90 Shore A, tuned to your sealing load. The exact durometer is confirmed for your application.
