Silicone (VMQ) rubber.

Silicone (VMQ) is our specialist material — a high-purity elastomer that stays elastic from roughly −60°C to +200°C and survives where organic rubbers fail. We compression-mould and extrude it into seals, gaskets, O-rings, profiles, cords and sponge, with food-grade, medical-grade and flame-retardant grades available.

Do you supply food-grade or medical-grade silicone?

Yes — food-contact and medical-grade silicone compounds are available; the grade is confirmed for your application.

Is silicone good outdoors?

Yes — it resists ozone, UV and weathering and ages very slowly outdoors.

Can silicone be used with oils or fuels?

Standard silicone has limited oil and fuel resistance; for those we recommend FKM or fluorosilicone (FVMQ).
